Water fire extinguishers are suitable for use in environments containing solid combustible materials such as wood, paper and textiles. It is important to remember that water conducts electricity and should not be used around electrical equipment.
The cylinder is manufactured from aluminium steel, valve made from brass with chromium coating and handle assembly is metal. The valve includes a pressure gauge for permanent pressure control as well as a check valve for independent external pressure check and due to the lever valve the flow can be interrupted at any time. The cylinder is excellent corrosion resistant by a special internal polyethylene lining coating procedure.
Approved according to European Standard EN 3 and the German DIN, cylinder and complete extinguisher assembly approved by TÜV CERT according to European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), CE marked, cylinders 100% pressure tested.
