The KS2ST Co2 unit is environmentally safe and can be used against B fire class and on electrical fires. It is ideal for electrical fires cause of its clean extinguishing agent which leaves no residue behind.

Carbon Dioxide fire extinguishers are suitable for use on flammable liquid fires and are extremely effective at extinguishing fire involving electrical equipment. CO2 is also one of the cleanest extinguisher agents and leaves no residue behind. CO2 extinguishers contain carbon dioxide, a non-flammable gas. They are so highly pressurized that it is not uncommon for bits of dry ice to shoot out. Since CO2 is heavier than oxygen and very cold, it displaces or removes oxygen from the surrounding area and cools the fuel.

The cylinder is manufactured from high quality alloy steel and the valve assembly is made from brass and is chromium plated. The cylinder is excellent corrosion resistant by a special internal polyethylene lining coating procedure. And is highly resistant to moisture, high temperature and UV radiation.
