  •     Appointing and training Fire Wardens / Marshals will provide the
management, the opportunity, to significantly enhance fire prevention practices in the workplace, improve communications and share the workload in the implementation of robust fire safety management.
  •     Designed for individuals who have completed the basic fire safety
awareness course and who have designated additional Fire Safety responsibilities, which include assisting in the safe evacuation of a building in the event of an emergency and the day to day management of fire precautions. This course meets the requirements under the Regulatory Reform Order (Fire Safety) 2005 and Cyprus Health & Safety Law 1996 and 2002/2003.
  •    Our bespoke, high standard Fire Wardens / Marshals Training Course aims
to provide comprehensive, realistic and robust theoretical and practical training ensuring that your Fire Wardens / Marshals will appropriately prevent and manage a fire incident in the workplace.

At the end of the session personnel will be able to:
  •     Understand the legislative framework as it relates to their role.
  •     Helping to prevent emergencies by monitoring the adequacy
        of control measures such as those related to fire risks.
  •     Carry out the necessary checks to the level required by the
        role in passive and active fire protection measures.
  •     Provide assistance on the implementation and improvement of
        effective workplace emergency procedures.
  •     Help on raising awareness amongst staff members of the fire
        risks in their workplace.
  •     Provide assistance, guidance to workers (and other relevant
        persons e.g. visitors) in an emergency, including assistance to
       people with disabilities etc.
  •     Describe the term "Human Behavior in Fire Case" and how it is dealt with.
  •     Describe the appropriate actions when a fire is found
  •     Describe the various type of first aid firefighting equipment
  •     Describe the correct evacuation procedures in case of fire
  •    Describe the emergency procedures in the case of entrapment
        in a building
  •     To be able to choose and safely operate the correct first aid
       firefighting equipment as deemed necessary
  •     Demonstrate the correct implementation of actions in the event of
       mass evacuation of people (as per the Fire Action / Evacuation Plan)

  •     On completion of the training all delegates
will be awarded with a certificate of attendance.
  •    Fire training courses are delivered at the location where
the delegates are based, if possible. This ensures that they reflect the fire risk profile of your premises and take into account your specific fire procedures, including your emergency plan.
  •     One day
  •     To ensure you get the most effective learning experience,
learners must be physically able to participate, and we limit group
size 6 - 16 people.
  •     Staff with managerial position within the company/organisation
or any other designated employee. Individuals are required to have completed the basic fire safety awareness course and who have designated additional Fire Safety responsibilities.
  •    Persons attending this course should have previously
completed a Fire Safety Awareness course.

Depending on the company's fire risk assessment, it may be necessary to set up a separate fire safety training program. This is usually in level 2 like the above training (Fire Warden) which is aimed at people in a responsible role.
