- A cardiac arrest can happen to anyone, anywhere, at any time.
A person's chance of survival falls by about 10%* for each minute that passes without defibrillation. The risk of death can be reduced if you have a defibrillator in your workplace and know how to use it. If you already have a defibrillator, it’s important that your employees know where it is.
- This training course provides the comprehensive set of skills needed
by people to become a confident person to use the Automated External Defibrillator, provide a cardiopulmonary resuscitation and what to do in an emergency.
At the end of the session personnel will be able to:
- Provide immediate treatment to someone requires cardiopulmonary
resuscitation (CPR) or the use of automated external defibrillator (AED). Personnel will be able also to operate and use the Automated External Defibrillator.
- To ensure you get the most effective learning experience,
learners must be physically able to participate, and we limit group size 6 people.
- This course is suitable for anyone who is interested in furthering his/her
emergency first aid skills, or already take part in an organised first aid scheme, then this course would suit them. If they are a health care worker, then this course will serve as a basic module.
